Of all the biblical stories, Noah's ark is one of the most well known throughout the world. The story of a great flood can be found in many traditional narratives from various cultures. If you have preschool aged children, another good plastic option is made by Fisher-Price. This set comes with far fewer animals than the Playmobil set, but the figures have less little swalloable parts, and so is more appropriate for very young kids. If you want to add more animals, there are a variety of extension sets by Fisher-Price that include things like Camels and Peacocks.
